NEED HELP FINDING A VINTAGE PART OR A GUNSMITH
HI, MY NAME IS LOU DONELLO, 3 MONTHS AGO MY UNCLE PAST AWAY, HE LEFT ME A MOSSBERG MODEL B, 22 CAL. LONG, OR SHORT, SINGLE SHOT RIFFLE, I GUESS IT WAS HIS, WHEN HE WAS YOUNG, I WAS TOLD IT WAS MADE BETWEEN 1927 AND 1933 MY QUESTION IS, I KNOW THAT THE FIRING PIN IS BROKEN, I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE A FULL BOLT OR JUST THE FIRING PIN IF ITS POSSIBLE OR BE REPAIRED ????

If you don't find it here on Gun Broker you can try to google it...worst case ANY decent gunsmith should be able to make it. You may can even take it (the part...not the whole gun) to a machine shop and get them to make it.
My father once made a firing pin and ejector from a bayonet blade using just a grinding wheel.0 -

Call these guys, there may be a firing pin interchangable from other mossberg models. Phone number is listed on the page.

All the action parts in the model B are the same. I assume that you are looking for part #B-12 in the following diagram. As you will note, the correct nomenclature for this part is striker. When you talk with vendors, call the part by that name.

If all else fails, make a new one yourself. This part is completely round. If you have a lathe, it's simple. If you don't have a lathe, you can actually make it with a electric drill motor and a file. Just remember to harden the tip after you are done.

If you have the pieces it could be repaired or a new one made off the pattern. You should inspect the chamber for damage too. 0 -
