H&R Model 999
Hey guys a friend of mine asked me to take a look at a gun that he has it's a H&R Model 999 on the barrell it says End of Chisolm Trail Cenntenial 1867-1967 he also has the original holster that has the same stamping on it. Can anyone tell me what its worth and where I can find a parts schematic on it.

I have recently received an H&R Sportsman with a serial number of AP1*****. It was my grandfather's. Any idea the date of manufacture? 0 -
don't know the value but numrich arms will have a schematic. i used it once to find a spring for my 999 0 -
Thanks a lot I found the schematic there right after I posted. The issue that it is having is that the cylinder isn't rotating I don't know if this is a normal problem any feed back would be helpful 0 -
I'd start by checking the hand spring, thats probably the most likely cause. 0 -
Thanks for the help any idea on the value 0 -
All depends on condition, but the 999 is a popular model and being a commemrative doesn't hurt either. I'd say roughly $500, without seeing it. 0 -
You might try removing the cylinder and METICULOUSLY cleaning the entire cylinder/ejector system. Take it all apart (easy), soak and scub. Repeat & repeat. With the working parts inside the cylinder, this model has nack for getting junked up in that area. Unless carefully cleaned often. 0
