Have Christoph Funk 20 gauge o/u would like to know what all the markings mean

basicly Some marking are the makers name or logo some are the caliber/gage of the fire-arm Some are the Date made some are the Grade of the firearm and some are proof marks to denote the gun was shot with overload and did not BLOW UP Without detail Close up pictures of each mark each reply would be close to a WAG,

In may reference, there is a Christoph Funk listed as being a gunmaker in Suhl Germany, just prior to W W II. There were a large family of Funk's in the gun business, located in the Suhl, for many years.

He also might have been a retailer of guns. As O/U shotguns were quite unusual in Germany during that time frame. Like PS noted, we need quality photos for accurate identification and valuation.
