32 gauge spaniard
Help,
Grandpa gave me a 32 gauge side by side dbl barrel made in Spain in the early 1920's by A. Aldazabal. It's in fair condition but I'm wondering what it's approximate wholesale/retail value might be? Can't find info on it anywhere other than a person's opinion. The two unusual features of this shotgun are: 32 gauge and that the breech opens by pulling back the trigger guard. Can anyone help me, plz? Thanks, kevin

32 Gauge shotguns are very uncommon in the States. About the only plus is that Fiocchi still makes the ammo. Although as it's imported from Italy. Not easy to come by, and expensive.
If it was a high quality English or Italian made gun, might have some collector interest.
Not likely your going to fund your retirement or a Vegas vacation out of what you can sell it for. IMHO.0 -
Dont give up on it yet as far as price. IT is true, That most Spanish guns are modest in both quality and price. BUT there is a small % of high end spanish makers. 0 -
Thank you for the two responses. Any ideas for literature/websites for older spanish shotguns? 0 -
At one time their were two shotguns specific forums/sites. You might GOOGLE these names to see if they are still in existence.
