Seeadler Optik 6 x 56mm

I have one of these Seeadler German scopes....but mine is in 3-15x56. Got it years ago but have to admit that I have never put it on a rifle! Still in the box just like this one. Looking through my records I see that I paid $495 for it years ago.....again, bigger scope than this one.I bought it because a friend of mine had one and raved about how good it was....German Optiks and all. Measure the tube diameter.
It very likely may be 26mm.
Rings are scarce and expensive in that size.
It's advertised as being waterproof.0 -
Lot of high end/pricy European firearms/scopes/accessories, etc. Aren't sold in the States because there not viable price wise, i.e importers/distributors can't sell them at a profitable markup. See Gary's post on what the one he bought, cost him.
Likely If you really have to have this specific brand of scope? You are going to have to import it, or have a dealer import it for you, from the fatherland. Time and moneywise it going to wind up costing you a lot more, than a comparable high quality scope thats currently available on the US market.0 -

I've looked through them and shot through them. Very, Very nice scopes. Right on par with anything using Schott glass. There may be coatings that you pay extra for as filters or something on the glass to toughen up the surface of the glass (without ruining the resolution) on more modern scopes. But again, very very clear and bright scope. As far as toughness or repeatability, I haven't owned one, let alone gotten to use one long enough to apply some abuse.
I don't think you would go wrong in getting one.0 -

Leadslinger585......we can only do so much for you. Value of clicks? Buy it and put it on your rifle and sight it in. Cost? I told you what I paid for mine (smaller than this one) over ten years ago so you can go from there. As Sandwarrior has told you, he speaks well of it. So, it is up to you....we can only do so much.
