    Scott,

    That is an interesting gun.

This one sold for $132.25, in November of 2010:

"This beautifully crafted miniature 6 shot Pinfire revolver was made in Austria by the firm Andres and Dworsky. Its plastic box is marked "Xythos Automatic 6 Shot." One of the tiny grips is marked Xythos, the other is marked Automatic. The gun measures less than 1 1/2" in length. One of the accessories included in the box is tiny cartridges. The gun is in excellent+ condition. A great find for the collector of miniature firearms."

    Great,
Thanks for the information! My next questions are:

Can this be mailed in USPS ?
Does it need registered and a dealer for the transaction?

    Thanks again for your assistance.

As far a I know, the pistols were sold as non-firearms. I have three of them, including the flare set you have. I am not sure if the pin fire blanks are considered small arms ammunition, or not. The USPS will not let one ship ammunition.

Not a firearm (there was no factory made 2mm pinfire ball ammo made) but USPS prohibits mailing any handgun, including a starter pistol, if you are not a Dealer or manufacturer. Ammo, especially flares, are not mailable.

C&P from Domestic Mail Manual, Firearms-

    1.1Definitions

The terms used in this standard are defined as follows:

    a. Handgun means any pistol, revolver, or other firearm or device the mailing of which is regulated by this standard.

    b. Pistol or revolver means a handgun styled to be fired by the use of a single hand and to fire or otherwise expel a projectile by the action of an explosion, spring, or other mechanical action, or air or gas pressure with enough force to be used as a weapon.

    c. Firearm means any device, including a starter gun, designed to, or that may readily be converted to, expel a projectile by the action of an explosion, spring, or other mechanical action, or air or gas pressure with enough force to be used as a weapon.
