CDNN used to sell the Turkish-made Lanbers for about what your lgs is asking.
It all depends on how you perceive Turk guns.
The one I have is a O/U in 20ga. with 26" barrels in i/c and modified; it swings well, has decent sights (well, a front bead is technically 1 sight), and has brought home a mess of Quail for almost 6 years.
I got it to shoot Doubles Skeet, but have yet to pop a clay with it.

    I'll be dipped!
After Rufe said it was Spanish; I looked closely at mine.
Somehow, Turkey was on my mind when I bought it, and sure enough, it's Made in Spain!
Mea Culpa; my reading comprehension classes start tomorrow!

According to the BB, the Lamber that the OP is inquiring about. Is a Spanish made shotgun, dating to the 80's.

My BB is about 4 years old. It values the 844 ST. At anywhere between $250 & $400, depending on condition.

You are not going to get into a serviceable O/U for much less than $350. If the gun is tight and feels good to you when you bring it up, how can you go wrong? I/C amd Mod are good chokes for pheasant hunting. If you don't like it you should be able to get your money back, or close anyway.

Those Lanbers were quite good in those years.. It's worth it..Another under rated about little known about O/U is the Savage Valmet- Built very well and not that expensive..imo

Thanks for all the input. I realize the price is generally low. He actually told me he would go $370, not $320. In the end I may just pick it up because I see so few and it is a really nice looking gun. This forum is pretty cool thanks to the great feedback. Appreciate it. I did find a Tikka 412s (Valmet design) that I did pick up. I think I'm getting addicted to this stuff.

Lanbers are very good guns, I have 3 u/o's by Lanber 1 bee a 3" chanber, 2 are fixed choke & 1 multi. They have never let me down or needed for nothing, & I shoot plenty, teaching newbies & out myself, hence 3 guns to give 1 a rest ;)
