WTK: 1950-60's Rem 22 bolt with stock feed

    mossberg?? the only remington that I can think of that was stock feed was the 66-77 series they were autos or lever

    I don't think it could have been a Mossberg, either. The butt-feed Mossbergs were/are auto-loaders. Off-hand, I can't think of any bolt .22's that fed that way.

    Yes, the Browning was a semi-auto.
    My Uncle had an old Remington or Winchester semi-auto that loaded through the stock and used 22 longs only but I can't remember the model #. I don't recall a Remington bolt action that had a butt stock mag.

    Maybe a Winchester model 63.

    The Remington Nylon Model 12 of that era was a bolt-action with a tube magazine.
