Unknown Scope Mount

I was told this was for a BM59, I would like a confirmation on that or if it's for another rifle. Thanks for all the help

It looks like an ARMS type claw mount for HK firearms. The "G-3" would lead a person to believe it was for the HK G3, which is a military type of HK91 .308 rifle.
ARMS (Atlantic Research and Marketing Service, I think) is a leader in quick detach type scope mounts. There are several copies of ARMS type mounts these days. If it were an ARMS, or something else that was "high dollar" or expensive name brand, it would have its name on it. Hope this helps.

I agree- it's a mount for an HK. It looks identical to the ones that came with the German military surplus scopes.

Looks like a very cheap knock-off of an HK scope mount.

This photo shows you how it would attach to an HK receiver:

This photo shows the same type of mount except that it is made by ARMS:

Notice that the ARMS mount also has screw holes in the rail.
