What do I have?
I have a spingfield 1911A1. It is chambered in 9mm and I cannot find any information on it, or another one like it! I'm looking not just for its value but general info on it and how i might find another one. It appears to be a standard model (no bell or whistles). Also its an original 9mm frame, not a conversion. Anybody have any background info on this thing? P.S. I have pictures but cant figure out how to add them to this posting.

I have a 12 ga. over/under that I do not know anything about on the side of the gun is stamped:
FABBRICA ARMI FAUSTI STEFANO
MARCHENO V.T. (BS)
CANNE CROMATE
ANY INFO YOU MAY HAVE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!0 -
Likely an RG. Not noted for being a high quality. Pic is too small. 0 -
Does it say Hialeah, Florida on it anywhere? 0 -
Looks like an RG-63 but the postage stamp sized photos makes seeing any details impossible. Value would be about fifty bucks...If it is complete and is fully functional. 0 -
Looks just like a Hy-Hunter I have. Not much quality, but I have killed a boat load of snakes with it. 0 -

+1. The RG-63 has a different shaped hammer and a front sight on a sleeve.0 -
I have a Herbert Schmidt that looks a lot like that but all the examples I've seen by them are clearly marked. 0 -
