Winchester 1894 .30 WCF caliber carbine. Manufactured approximately 1913. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Action works perfectly. Sides of the receiver has bright blue and the rest is matte finish blue. Metal including the stocks have all been refinished. Barrel bands, buttplate and lever are all nickel plated. Colorful saddle ring carbine you can shoot!
What do you all think a fair price would be for this gun? I uploaded 6 pics but when I get the link to post it only links to one picture. I am using imageshack.
Thanks,
gene

The one pictured below has purchased used by my wife's uncle in about 1930 and is virtually all original including the tang sight. It was made in about 1898-1899. I've had it appraised (a few years ago) at $500. It would be more accept that the round barrel, 30 WCF carbine was the most common of that model. Rarer chamberings and barrel and stock configurations are higher priced.

How observant!! Next thing we'll learn is that you've figured out that up is the opposite of down.0 -

Gene,
A fair price would be something less than $400.0 -
Thanks Bert. I didn't think it would be any where near the 1200.00 he is asking because of the refinish.
