Holster
I received a 40 Hi-Point for Christmas and just recently bought a fobus paddle holster for it. The holster is adjustable, but even when I have it adjusted all the way out, it's still hard to draw the pistol. Is there any kind of coating/lubrication I can put in the holster (without hurting the pistol)to make it easier to draw?
Thank you

Unload gun.. Triple check that it is unloaded. Then in and out of the holster for about an hour while you watch TV 0 -
I had the same problem with the Galco Phoenix I bought for my Dan Wesson 15-2. What I used was Lexol leather conditioner and powdered graphite mixed into a thin paste and rubbed into the tight spots. 0 -
There is only so much you can do with a Fobus holster. The plastic they use has a built in memory, specifically to retain the pistol. You might try something like dry paste wax on the internal surfaces of the holster, and external surfaces of the pistol. From my limited experiences with High Points, there isn't a whole heck of a lot that will hurt them. 0
