Shipping Ammunition
I've been reading on a few places that the shipping requirements for ammunition are changing on January 1st 2014. Do you have details on how to ship ammo after December 31st?

Should be no problem. The occupants of Base Housing on a U.S. Air Force Base are permitted to have their personal firearms and ammo in this type housing. However, residents of single-airman quarters, such as the BOQ or BEQ, are not allowed to store firearms. Those occupants must store theirs in the base armory.
As far as ammo goes, when I lived in bachelor quarters, even though I had to store my guns in the base armory, there was no restriction on me storing my own ammo in the quarters. Go ahead and ship to him. If his base has any new regs concerning the issue, he can comply with them once he takes delivery.0 -

If he lives close to a UPS distribution center you can ship to that address with call for pick up and and they will call him when it arrives and he can come in sign and pick up the ammo.
