Pistol Mag Loaders
Hi Guys,
Been reading (learning and laughing) a lot for a while now but this is my first post.
Anyway, I am looking for a good quality magazine loader that will load Springfield XDS 9mm 7 and 9 round mags and Sig Sauer P238 (380 ACP) 6 and 7 round mags.
I have been looking at the HKS model 943 adjustable, which looks like it will work but may not be very durable.
I have also been looking at the Maglula stuff - the babyuplula and the uplula - which look more durable but I can't tell if one of these will do the trick for both models. Can't really tell if either will load the Sig actually.
Any help / suggestions are appreciated.

hks works ok just pushes the cartridge down to allow you to slide a new in 0 -
Best universal magazine loader i have found is free, rarely gets lost and takes up 0 extra room in your bag. Its your thumb. 0 -

I use a very sophisticated "trick" when I load stiff magazines:
a. Hold magazine in left hand with opening pointing toward the right.
b. Place to-be-loaded round on top of magazine.
c. Push down on round with right thumb.
d. Push down on right thumb with left thumb.
e. Slide round into place. . .repeat.
So far I've never found the magazine I couldn't load fairly easily using this two thumb technique.
Once in a while, I'll come across some so called 16 round magazine where its REALLY hard to load the last round.
So then I just rename the magazine a 15 rounder, and stop after 15.

The thumb method always worked for me, I used to laugh at the guys using a mag loader.
THEN I tried the Upula on several types of mags.
Well if I only want to load 1 or 2 mags I will stick with my thumbs, but if I'm at the range and going through boxes of ammo, the Upula sure speeds up the process and my thumbs say thank you!0 -

Another vote for the uplula. Picked mine up at the Baghdad PX a couple years ago. Best loader for pistol mags.
I also have one for my AK mags and one for my AR mags.0 -
