I recently aquired a third model Remington .41 rimfire derringer. The left side hinge is broken. Is it worth having it fixed or should I just leave it alone?

I never heard of the usual Remington double derringer in anything but .41 rimfire.
Remington DID make other designs of pocket pistol in .22 and .32.

You may have a copy made in Spain. They were famous for almost exact
copies of early firearms even down to the lettering.
This copy while in 41rf shows how close they are.
This gun company did also mark the guns with their name, some didn't. http://www.icollector.com/Two-Spanish-Over-Under-Derringers-A-Wexell-DeGress-Copy-of-Remington-Over-Under-Derringer-B-Fa_i9385606

Probably been sleeved. Check at the breech and muzzle surfaces of the barrel. Using a strong light, and magnifying glass. Likely their will be a visible line. Where the old barrel, and new liner meet.
