Bi-pod and frontgrip on Mini-14 tactical?
Hi,
I recently purchased a mini-14 tactical from GunBroker..

It has a nice foregrip and I want to leave it on but I also want a bi-pod. Would there be any way I could mount it on there? I thought it had a longer rail on the bottom but I guess I was wrong!

Versa-Pod makes/made a bolt on under the "gas thing" in the front, that'll do you.
I reckon the NcStar will take a beating (at least mine did) where the reticle started to spin. At least NcStar will fix/replace the scope for $10 shipping. Might be more since that was a while back.0 -
At one time Harris made a attachment that clamped around the barrel. It was specially made for their bipods. You just bolted them together.
I had it on a Springfield Arsenal SASS conversion in .223. It worked OK. I was told clamping it around the barrel affected the point of impact and accuracy. But I didn't notice a great difference in either at relatively close range, <100 yds.0
