I had some loaded ammo for the little pistol. I have seen several of the pistol over the years maybe one rifle.

Smith & Curtis book. "The Pinfire System", has a section on them. They are referred to as "Charm" or "Trinket"pistols. Made as novelties, in a number of different countries. From the 1860's until fairly recent times. Photos of the pistols, rifles, and boxes of ammo for them, are in the book.

If you are thinking about firing live ammo make sure the barrel is FULLY bored out. Many were made to shot blanks only without fully bored barrels.

Thanks, I just checked and the little pistol is bored out but the rifle barrel looks either plugged or not bored through. But given what people want for this ammo I don't anticipate firing these with live ammo or blanks. They were in my late uncles stuff, I found them recently and was just wondering about them.
