Trying to find the value of an LC Smith Field Grade 16 Gauge Side by Side shotgun made in 1924. Looks to be in good condition. Thanks for any assistance.

  I have an old LC Smith, it says Trap Grade Serial # FWE 114,XXX T. Im looking to trade for a superpose. Does anyone have an idea of value? Very good shape tight with original leather carry case

  My only L.C. is an old 12 ga. Light weight.

  Any LC Smith hammerless would work.
  
  The part is located on the forearm iron where the two cocking pieces meet the forearm.
  There is a small square ? piece apx 1/4 by 1/4 inch that is held onto the forearm by a small screw.
  Gunparts corp has a nice picture of it but they are out of stock! item 56
  Any help will be appreciated.
