Foriegn shipping question-speedloader to Germany
Is it legal to send a revolver speedloader to Germany? And where would I find the answer online?
It is a speedloader for a S&W 547 in 9MM, not for moon clipped ammo, hard to find anywhere.

Might try this forum. I would be especially cautious, nowadays. Sending any kind of handgun loading device to Europe. Nomater how innocuous to us. It might be verboten over there?

You can't find it online unless you have a paid subscription to access the US Munitions List. There were changes to the list within the last few weeks (Iran sanctions), but there may be other changes that we don't know about.
You may be able to get written permission from the US Dept of State; I wouldn't ship anything to another country without it. I hate prison food.

No clue. If it was legal why would they not buy one locally? Gotta be faster and cheaper plus more secure than online from some person.
I sent and received a lot of stuff while I was stationed in Germany back in the 70's.
added Those German SL's look interesting. I have a few speed loader's but I seldom bother to use or carry them anymore.0 -
I don't understand.
Lots of people would like to get SL Variant speedloaders FROM Germany.0 -
used to be a list of this type of thing on the usps site about what contrys cant get 0 -
I doubt you will make enough money off the transaction to retire, personally if in doubt just say no, and look for a local buyer, just my 2 cents. 0 -
I can't believe the asking price on these is almost $100! Pretty sure I had one or two back when I had a 547.
This link (if it works) will take you to a page that lists contact information in Germany about importing things. It won't tell you directly but if you email them you might find out what you need to know.0
