Starline Cartridges?
Does Starline manufacture loaded ammunition? My SIL showed me some .45/70 cartridges with 405 gr. cast bullets he bought from Cabelas that have the Starline headstamp. I didn't see the box they were in. Would Cabelas be selling custom reloads? Or does some outfit like Buffalo Bore use Starline brass?

Doesn't appear Starline sells loaded ammo.

Starline only sells casings. They make a good quality product, so some loaders use their brass for making their ammo. I use a lot of their .38 short colt for revolver competition. 0 -
Ultramax ammo sells 45 Colt using Starline brass. They offer 45-70 but I don't know what brass they use for that one. 0 -
I used to buy cowboy action loads in .45 Colt and .45/70 that were loaded in Starline brass. They were made by an outfit in California called Ten-X. 0 -
Starline does not make live rounds as far as I know, but their cartridge brass for most things is second to none. The exception would be for long range precision rifle shooting. My brass for that says Lapua, Norma, or Hornady, and in that order.

Starline * - * good quality and sometimes the only brass cases you could find to reload for cartridges like the 9mm Largo and 7.62X25mm. 0
