Gents !!!

The Upper left front of the trigger guard has "LT" stamp. What is this?

Serial is 427XX so this is a 1922 pistol. Help me if you can! THANX!!

  Interesting L is Feb and T would be 1926 if it followed the normal Remington Code which is in the correct place.
