Adjusting a Hurricane Scope
I have a HURRICANE 4x32 Rifle SCOPE made in Japan and it has no adjustment knobs. The one end has lots of dials but can find no information on it after searching the web. Can anyone help by telling me how it works? Thank you.

WAG Looks like it is a variable power and has a focus adjustment. Needs to be in a mount system that has adjustments or you use Kentucky windage and Tennessee elevation. 0 -
It's fixed 4 power scope. The adjustment is to focus the crosshairs. At the proper eye relief you turn one of the rings to unlock it then the other 'til the crosshairs are finely focused then you tighten the lock ring. 0 -
Is the scope for sale? Did you figure out how to adjust it?

put the scope mounts in a vice to hold scope stationary then look through the scope at a target graft paper works well . move rings and see if cross hairs move .IF not then you will need a mount that you can sdjust the Mount itself to move the scope up or down left or right. 0 -
We sold it back in July to someone that was interested in it after trying to find out information about the adjustment. Thanks for checking. 0 -
WELL DARN,
The scope is a turretless scope with the reticle adjustment under a protective ring near the eyepiece. On this model it just unscrews and slides back.0
