Nice isn't a standard condition rating. 98%? Do an advanced search on completed auctions.

Most slightly used Ruger Blackhawks I see for sale go around $400.00 or so. There were 3 AN no box at a LGS last weekend - 6" 357 mag new model - for $400.00 each. I just picked one up, ANIB with a 4 5/8" barrel in 41 Magnum for $425.00. I know, I know - the 41 is a dying cartridge ...
Good deals for buyers in Rugers, not so much selling.0 -
Per the book, Ruger and His Guns, .357 serial numbers started with 35-93851 in 1982 and with 36-22705 in 1983. 0 -

The serial number does indeed match the chart: It is higher than the first number produced in 1982 (35-93851), and lower than the first number of 1983 (36-22705) hence, made in 1982.
(It might be more clear to you if you would ignore the dash.)0 -
Got it ! Ignore the dash. Simple enough. Thanks to all ! 0
