ross taylor /special effects gun

Has anyone ever heard of a Ross Taylor special effects gun. It is a 12 shot compressed air gun used for special effects in Hollywood movies.It fires a small projectile around 1/2 inch in diameter.
It is not a paintball gun ,its extremely well made .
I picked it up at a yard sale and was wondering apx. value in excellent condition.
Any info would be helpful!

  Never heard of him or his gun(s). But he won a academy award, for them.
  Because of this, it might have some value, to a collector of movie stuff?
