rim fire ammo ?

I picked these up at a local auction, most are easy but what it the one with the ? mark..........also any value gestimate on them. thanks


"8 or 9mm??".....too big for 8mm, too small for 9mm and a typical remington head stanp??

  COW has, a "9 mm ball". Listed in it's rimfire data section. Bullet is .337 diameter. Overall length .560. Black powder cartridge dimensions were all over the place.
  
  Because of the fouling caused by the BP residue. Since they were all low pressure cartridges. The manufactures did't sweat it.
