Unknown scope

Another puzzler
About 8" long and 1" diameter Has a grid on the inside (nothing else)
And has a rectangle with T.T.H.2 on the side in Off white paint, has adjustments screw on sides
May be for mortar or anti tank rifle?
Any clue?

  Could be a spotter scope for mounting on the side of an astronomy telescope.
