You tricked us! 0 -
no tricks.
there are more than one book and many more expert collectors who have way more knowledge than the old books printed inaccurately.
im still hoping to hear from some in the Winchester cult who have other knowledge more updated, than the books presently published.0 -
I have a 42,000 and a 192,000.
Bobski, yes, the 192,000 is a FW.0 -
is it a featherweight? I have a fw and its 193000. 0 -
trap....do you own 196402 or does your book say that number? 0 -
That's the info from Bert that he got from the Polishing Room records. The records show production from 1954 to 1962. 195,399 was the last one made in 1961, and they only made 3 more in 1962. I've read somewhere on the Winchester collectors Forum that the serial numbers started at 1000, but I don't know if there's any thing to back it up. 0 -
yes its true. 1000 was #1. I own it with a cody letter.
well....looks like I found a rare one. 201168. as real as the day I was born.
historical find indeed.0
