  I'd say no to Winchester model 12. No recess for the slide action bar.
  But, Pictures are a bit small for detail.
  
  I'd say a Winchester 120 or 1200

  I guess I was thinking it could be a Model 12 because it's got that cutout on the lift inside that I haven't seen on a 120 or 1200.

  Perhaps a Remington M742 ? They had a cone shaped metal retainer in the front.
