My Dad got this ammo I can not ID.
BULLET--.299 dia--128gr FMJ --Nickel--case length .220---base
.448--neck OD.328

Base to Sholder 1.671

stamped on base
sm1--636 Possible 7.35 Carcano

I have a sack of pulled bullets. They stick to a magnet (steel jacket) and don't shoot well in a standard 30 Cal. I was going to bump them up in a swage until I noticed they were steel. Maybe if I run across a crappy bore rifle I'll go for it.

7.35 Carcano ammo is fairly rare. 6.5 Carcano is still loaded commercially, but you have to go to a reloader to buy 7.35. Instead of pulling the bullets, you might want to take it to a show.
