Rem. 11-48 Stock

Friend is looking for a buttstock for a Remington 11-48 28 gauge shotgun. Will one for a 20 gauge fit it? Thanks!

I usually look at the part numbers or the aftermarket stock makers for guidance.

Talk says 1100 Rem butt stocks will fit.

Butt stocks from Remington 742's and 760's plus the newer versions of them should also work. The 11-48 frame is the same for 20, 28 ga. and 410.
