Sig Sauer hammers?
Does anyone know of a manufacturer making replacement hammers for Sig Sauer pistols with exposed hammers that would be commander style? Thank you.

Your best bet would be to call Brownell's. There customer service folks, are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a extensive inventory of gun parts. Both OEM and aftermarket. If anybody would have SIG replacement hammers. It would be them. 0 -
Thank you. I'll do that. 0 -
Variety of available aftermarket SIG pistol parts is pretty limited.
I've never seen a true ring (commander style) Sig hammer, though I guess any gunsmith could drill a hole in a spur hammer to create that look.
SIG custom shop did at one point offer skeletonized hammers, which are pretty similar. They may still be able to do this for you. I'd suggest contacting them directly.

Edit: Responding to below:
I inferred you were talking about the proprietary Sig pistols, not the 1911.
If you like the cosmetics/asthetics of a ring hammer, so be it, but the SIG pistols are pretty darn reliable, and I kind of doubt replacing with an aftermarket hammer or removing the itsy-bitsiest amount of weight from the hammer is going to reduce the lock time in any way that's going to meaningfully improve anything. IE, the SIG engineers desiged these pistols to work with the hammers they've got.
This guy does work on SIG hammers. His price list specifies $125 for a "semi-bob". I think that's fairly reasonable given the professional time, disassembly, hand work, and re-assembly. At additional cost, he might be able/willing to drill a hole too for a commander like hammer:

I?d call Cylinder & Slide. They do all kinds of custom work.0 -
Sometimes lightened hammers need more spring to ensure ignition, so investigate that area also.
added Wow $236 for a hammer!0 -

Thank you everyone. I should have thought to say Sig Sauer pistols with exposed hammers that are other than their 1911s,i.e.,P226, SP2022, etc. Maybe someone will see a market for such hammers and offer them. I think they would improve the appearance and function of the ones I own. 0
