  I have a model 16 Savage 243 cal. syn. stock, stainless action and barrel. It is topped with a Simmons Aetec 2.8x10x44. The gun and scope are in excellent condition. It is a left handed action. What can I expect/ask for this gun. Thanks for your input. [8D]

  I use to own, one of the Columbian Madsens. Much rarer and more valuable than then a Mas 36/51. Only 5,000 were sold to Columbia, in 30-06.
  
  You would make out like a bandit, if the owner of the Madsen. Would swap you straight across,

  Whatttttttttttttttt? Since when did they rocket? I bought one for 150.00 about a year ago. They brought those in for 100. bucks.

  Big difference between asking, actual selling prices. Being both are non reserve auctions. Wait till end of auctions, to see what the 36/51 and the Madsen actually sell for.
  
  Can't tell, might be some folks out there. Just have to get their hands on a 36/51. And are willing to bid it up, against others. To get it.
