American Arms Escort
Does anyone have any experience with this pistol. I just picked it up at a garage sale but it is missing the grips. From what I can find out it is a pretty rare pistol. Its a 380 so I would like to get it back in action.
Reliable ?
Safe ?
Anyone own one ?
Thanks for any information.

It was one of the many handguns, sold by American Arms prior to their demise in the late 90's. Many of them were made, in very small quantities, including yours.
No personal experience with the escort, don't believe I've ever seen one?
Don't know if any of the AA guns, have achieved collectors interest? Even though they were made, in very limited production. I bought one of their, .22, P 38 knock offs, couple years ago. From a guy at a show. He tried to sell it at various gun shows, for at least a year. Starting around $600. Needless to say after a year of futility, he settled for substantially less.0 -
Thanks all !
I ordered a pair from Tombstone!
Let you know what I think of them when I get them.0 -
Make sure you get the grips for the correct, Escort pistol. Years ago S & W, made a Escort pistol. It would be much more commonly found, than the American Arms Escort. Below is a pic off the net, of the Smith.

Thanks for the heads up. Tombstone's website had a picture of the Escort grips that I need so I was pretty sure they are the correct ones. Not cheap but I think the pistol deserves the correct grips.
Thanks again !0 -
I just received the grips I ordered from Tombstone !
Unbelievable great fit ,look like original excellent, but not cheap grips.
I would do it again any day !0
