Q , for win mod. 70 experts ( Bert H. )

Picked up a mod. 70 " Youth Ranger " in 243 win , the stock on it is pretty rough , I can get a nice " Feather weight " stock for a really good price , but its an internet sale , sold as is , so there's no fit testing before I buy it . It is from a short action 243 . I believe they both have the 2 piece floor plate . My question is , do you think/Know if the F weight stock will work on the Ranger model ?

  I have a Ranger and the only difference between it and the Featherweight is the quality of the stock. So yes, the Ranger action should drop right into the FW stock.

  Thank you K C , I wasn't sure if the barrel channels were different or not .
