S&W Model 52-2 DOM

I'm wiping down some handguns today and found myself wondering, just when did I purchase my New 52-2. Seems to me it was late 1980s but I suppose it could have been as late as 1990 or so.

Can anyone here tell me when Serial # TCM84xx was made? TIA!

  It appears to me to be 1989. As the range of S.N.'s for 1988, ends with the "TCB", prefix. Per, SCSW.
