Winchester model 12 dom and Bert ?

Can anyone tell me the month and year a Winchester model 12 serial #1464402 was made and also this gun is engraved Bert but does not match any of Pauline Muerrle's Winchester model 12 pattern's so is it assumed it is not factory engraved? Any info is always appreciated. Terrill

  October 1952. If the engraving does not match any known Winchester patterns, I am 99.99% sure that it was not engraved by Winchester.
