Where were these made, and why are they on longer available?
Thanks.

I have a fairly new Ren 700 with the X-Mark pro trigger. There is nothing wrong with this trigger in fact I think its excellent but I want a trigger that I can go from bench rest weight to hunting weight without removing the stock. I've posted on this forum about this before. I came across this trigger and it looks interesting. Has anyone had any experience with this one. Also it says that it will not fit 700's with the ISS safety. What is the ISS safety? Here's a link to the trigger. Thanks. Dave

Kufstein, Austria, and when Hannes Kepplinger retired about 6-7 years ago, he stopped making them.

Geri,
Many of us got the warning from suppliers such as Brownells that these triggers would be discontinued. I had to ante up for several versions which I find useful for certain types of builds. But when they're gone, they're gone with nothing left to replace them in that price category.
If you find any on the market currently, buy them or let me know![:D]

Mr nononsense,
With this discussion about Kepplinger triggers, I dug thru my piles of stuff I'll never use, and found one..It is for a Ruger MKII.. I have had an inquiry, that asked if they were right hand left hand specific???
Can you enlighten me...
TIA

The triggers for the MK IIs as far as I know are not specific to RH or LH. The safety for that model is on the bolt shroud. 0 -
