Aluminium frame means to me it's designed to carry often and shoot little.
No one I know shoots one.0 -
Local Cal-Ranch store, had a number of them. I just couldn't get past the ugliness, let a lone the price. But apparently they sold them. Somebody done sprung for them.
Besides the two points, I referenced above. Chiappa being associated with them, wouldn't be a positive factor.0 -
transfered a few no thanks 0 -
Well they had them to shoot at the last Acusport show range day in Texas. I picked up several and dry fired them. The guy from Chipacrap wanted me to shoot them but I said thanks but no. These were guns I would guess were hand picked to bring to let hundreds of dealers test fire and they were awfull. The actions on all of the guns I handled were rough. Add to that they are just so damned ugly. We have never had a customer order one and I only remember one coming in for a transfer. On the other hand the Yankee Marshal likes them but I think he's pretty screwed up anyway. 0 -
I managed to fire one about a year ago with full power loads. I never liked the way the pistol felt and rode in my hand. Recoil was negligible. The gun function was flawless and very accurate, but its is not for me. S&W please.
Like you, never cared for AL frames in any revolver and agree with Ricci: Its ugly0 -
Looked at one in a store once...............once.
That's all it took. Didn't feel good and looked even worse.
I'll stick to my Smiths and Colts.0 -
The design idea to put the recoil lower in the hand is sound. And that is about where the good news ends. 0 -
Talked my friend out of it and into a SW 686 PC for the money a rhino would cost. 0
