Kahr ?

I picked up a E9 the other day that has a screw with a raised head just below the slide lock lever. This is my 4th Kahr but I have never seen one with this, any ideas?

  I have one like that.
  I THINK the screw is a travel stop so the slide stop lever does not get slapped down hard against the bottom of the notch in the frame. The E model slide stop is cast or MIM and is not as strong as the fabricated machined part on the P guns.
