Thread size for swivel stud
I have a Mossberg 500 tactical #54125 http://www.mossberg.com/product/500-tactical-6-shot-54125/ and wondering if anyone knows the thread size of the hole in the takedown magazine cap. I want to put a sling stud on it. Thanks in advance.
Edit: thanks all, ordered a 10-32 stud this morning.

No clue if or what the cap is tapped for, but there isn't a lot of choices for the stud thread size. Uncle Mike's 10-32. Remington sold a cap that had the sling stud so it could swivel and never unscrew. I would copy that idea by having a clearance hole in the cap and red Loctite the nut(s) to the stud.

Or maybe this could work for you

Try 10 x 32. That's pretty common for studs. 0 -
Concur with BT99. Just installed a set on a Mossberg last week. 0
