It depends on what model it is. The Hardballer, about $600, the Skipper(40 S&W), around $500, the Javelina(10mm), around $700ish. This is just my own opionion.

In my personal experience the stainless steel pistols made by AMT had a lot of problems. If the one your trying to sell is functional and reliable consider your self blessed. If it works OK I'ld be happy to get $350-$450 out of it.

had a few of them. none of them ever fired more than 2 to 3 shots without jamming! be aware, that when you sell it, it will probably come back as not working.

It is my understanding that the frames and slides were made from the same alloy. This would cause gauling and tie up the action. The use of a good lube will help quite alot. E

If she shoots a full magazine $100 more than rufe-snow estimated. If there are issues then at what rufe-snow stated with "As Is" clause[:D].

My cousin and I both have govt models and they've worked fine - mine for 10 years his for 15 I bought mine on his advice. I have heard people complain but when questioned it was always 3rd hand. Ive put 3000 rounds through mine and with good magazines it's as good as the Colt's Ive owned.

The AMT galling issue was in the first manufacturing lot, that only numbered about 1-3 thousand. The problem was the slide and frame were made from the same type of stainless. They changed the alloy in the slide to correct it.
Before silicon based gun lubes were widespread, AMT recommended mixing Lubriplate white grease with 30wt motor oil to lube the slide.
I put over 50,000 rounds through a Hardballer 7" Longslide and only managed to wear out a barrel and bushing. The factory mags would only feed hardball reliably, Wilson mags would feed anything I fed it.
