Ithica M 37
I have an Ithica M37 ser. 102xxxx it has a 28" vent rib barrel. 100% Bluing on reciever and barrel. Has a tru glo type front sight. Has all wood stocks. looking for value since I want to know if I'd be better off selling it and getting a different shotgun for home defence, or cut the barrel down to 18 1/2". If it has a good value I dont want to ruin it.

check the auction side for real world values, I'd guess about $300/400.about 2 mossberg 500's 0 -
The 28" vent rib barrel on your Ithaca is - by itself - worth as much as a used Mossberg shotgun. Don't cut it. 0 -
Don't cut the barrel. Either sell it or try to find a well used police or riot barrel for it, or a beater standard barrel to cut down. 0 -
Don't cut it down it will cost you a lot. Buy a used Rem 870 express. 0 -

Great hunting gun. 0 -
You could buy a used slug barrel for it for less than the damage you would do.
This would also increase the value if you should decide to sell later with two barrels.0 -
Thanks to all who responded. Thats what I figured but I had to be sure so I asked
smokeymt46- This item was not posted as for sale just wanted to know what I should do sell or modify. Thanks for lookin out.
Going to the local gun shop to trade it in.0 -
That Ithaca Model 37 is better than anything you will be able to trade for. The Ithaca Model 37 is a John M. Browning designed shotgun made here in the good ol' U.S. of A. 0 -
Does this OEM stock have an off set? 0
