Well I dont feel any older ( or any better ) : Turned the big "60" @ 0330 this morning ? & I was awake most of the nite ? Didnt sleeo well @ all ???

Oh well : just trying to stay warm !!!

    I think of myself as being eight (that's a 7 plus a 1) soon to turn nine.

    In the past year, I've been diagnosed with weak kidney function, high blood potassium, and a cataract. I've gone from seeing my regular Doc every other year to having seven appointments since September - with three doctors. And I'm exceedingly healthy for my age! Compared to a few guys here, I'm damn near immortal.

    Strap in, cowboy, the rest of the ride will be a little bit rougher.

    The only birthday that hit me hard was thirty. I had always thought of people who were thirty as OLD but I hadn't given it any thought until it happened. Now however I am giving thought to eighty which isn't far away. That is OLD.

    I was still doing "day work" @ 60 but that didn't last long. Now almost a decade later, I work a less strenuous job and get paid better.

    The other day I told a 30 something co-worker I didn't like Buffalo Wild Wings because of all the TVs and it is too noisy. He said I am a just a grumpy old man who complains about everything.

    I suppose I am a grumpy old man but I am using my bonus check to buy a new shotgun and his is going to his wife so I got some satisfaction out of that.
