The tough one for me was when Carter revealed that whilst serving aboard one of our Navy's ballistic missile submarines he had made up his mind that if the order ever came he would not launch his missiles and their nuclear payloads...
How he managed to graduate from the naval academy and get through the psych evals and assume a launch command position of authority on a boomer with nukes - come into possession of a launch key is beyond me...
I hear they have removed all reference to him from display at the naval academy - sanitizing the institution
His destruction of the space program - including actually having production equipment and molds needed for the booster production program physically destroyed and rendered into scrap
What he did to our military in terms of funding and development - the way he dismantled our Navy
He really was proactive in diminishing and destroying our country
Gas prices through the roof - an inability to deal with OPEC or the middle east - mortgage interest rates insanely high
Lots of folk seem to forget how bad he was

No. I remember.
My first two years in the Military were under his inept leadership.
The aborted rescue of our Iranian hostages, was an embarrassment. When Reagan took office, morale in the Military, finally returned.0
