    IIRC: The tank, when empty, is supposed to have 30 PSI air pressure in it. Perhaps your tank is just low on air? Something to check.

    Actually they come pre charged with 38# air. that would be for a 40-60 pressure switch. A 30-50 pressure switch takes 28# of air. Always 2# under cut on pressure is what pressure they need in them. The tank is 12 yr old and water logged. Rubber bladder is compromised.. most likely a pin hole. I have changed a lot of bladder tanks on rentals thru the years. They usually last about 5 yrs or maybe 7. But be for warned if the pump cycles after they completely fill up with water being waterlogged the pump WILL burn up. Trust me I know...

    I guess I am on borrowed time. Bladder tank a well pump have been working for 15 years, so far.

    I am really on borrowed time. My well pump and bladder tank have been working since I built the house 24 years ago. Heat pump and water heater as well. I can't complain if any of them fail, I just hope they all don't give up the ghost at the same time. [V]

    Cripe I hope the Jinx isn't out on you guys. Water heater went out last year..11 yrs.. AO Smith. Our Heat Pump has only needed one capacitor changed since the home built. Easy repair on both.

    Replaced my pump and bladder tank, last fall. Water heater a couple months ago. I hope I do not have to play with any plumbing issues any time soon. I hate plumbing stuff.

    My installations and plumbing were far superior to what was in place prior to my installations. [:D]
