I went and ordered that trigger hammer and slide release. It will be here Thursday. I watched the youtube video on putting it in and it looks fairly easy. How long did it take you, start to finish????I am pretty good working on guns but this thing looks like it's a little hard to get in right. Did you use the shims and did they come with the package????. I read in the reviews that the shims come with it but in the title decription, it says you have to order them seperate. Thanks Oakie

    That is some good chow.

    The next time you go you have got to try the Corn Nuggets, they are killer good.

    Its like cream corn and cream cheese fried into a nugget.


    BTW the 22mag is doing good and 84 is hanging in there like a pitbull.

    I shot my 10.5" AR Pistol today.

    Loud!

    When I had a 10.5" on my M4 shooting it without a can I always had ear protection except on a few occasions and those I wasn't worried about my ears[;)]

    Took this one to the back yard Range and put 20 rds through it. Functioned well got it zero-ed in at 25m on a M4 zero tgt. It was close at 100yds.

    The little 275 Winchester is doing much better than I thought, Ken is still hanging and I hope he gets it. I have an older 4x with 22 rail mounts I will send him if he wants it. He can text me his address.

    Hey Ken way to hang in there. I used your tree climbers today to trim some elm limbs. They worked like a champ. My FIL gave me a waist belt so I am golden.

    WOHOOOOOOOOOOOO 14500! I need to do a GAW.

    I see.

    Had tacos last night. Well really what I had are carnitas. Pork cooked slow, steamed corn tortillias topped with home made pico-de-gallo.

    Re-fried black beans and home made mex-rice.


    Washed it down with Modelo beer!

    Did a few shots of tequila too.

    I could have pulled stumps after I was done.



    I have a buddy who is going to butcher a Steer next week. He is giving me the Tongue!
    I will make tacos lingua(Tongue Tacos) they are awesome! Kind of a PITA to make but well worth it.

    Damn I just realized I?m all out of the brown water based protective coating and this rifle will need at least a gallon. Well I will get started making a new batch. Normally I like to let the concoction set for a week to ripen but I will just have to use this batch green.

    Here is what I have a set of scope mounts that will affix to the top rail on that gun with one inch rings and a scope:

    - Fixed 4X Tasco older scope, Aluminum body, clear lens. It has the Plex type crosshairs; big to small, I know it will fit with the rear sight.

    -Fixed 6X steel body K6 Weaver. Clear glass. Fine crosshair. This a longer and heavier scope than the Tasco. I think it would fit on that gun but you may have to remove the rear sight, no guarantees except both work and will hold zero.

    Let me know which one and I will mail it on Monday.

    Tasco sounds good. I like/prefer the bold to fine crosshairs. Those older Tasco's, are good scopes.

    No Problem. The Tasco is a good scope, not pretty but a solid scope.
