Back up camera for trailer

I'm thinking about getting a camera to put on the rear of my trailer to help with backing etc...

there lots of options out there. Bluetooth - wired - IOS etc...

I'm looking for something mid priced yet reliable.

Who has used one and any other suggestions...

    How often do you use the trailer. Just me I would get something removable so each time you stop you can take it off.

    Just me my car has it and I prefer to use the mirrors.

    I just bought a Rand McNally in-car GPS system that's based on a 7" Android tablet. Works as a GPS and as a tablet. Pretty handy. But it also lists an accessory Bluetooth backup camera. The tablet/GPS was only $75 so you wouldn't be in too deep if you got one of them plus the camera thingie.

    I put one on my travel trailer.

    I have never had good luck with any wireless ones so mine is hard wired. I have a 7" monitor on the top of the visor.

    It has worked perfectly for 5 years.


    I also put backup lights on the rear of the trailer. Same power for both camera and lights.

    If you have hands free phone in your rig just have your wife call you and give you some directions....if that doesn't cause you too much stress....[;)][:D]..oh, and if you have service.[:0]

    We've tried that. But t usually makes the rest of the day suck... :)

    I'm looking pretty hard at the Yada 4.5" camera / monitor. Good price and good reviews.

    And - it'll work with a second camera too.

    I have tried that method. However every time we tried my wife called me some nasty names that made everyone look at me.

    Of course if she could line things up better I could back in better.[:)]
