Harry's Shaving Set

I know some of you subscribe to Harry's shaving stuff.

This months issue of The Star (Mercedes Club of America magazine) had what amounted to a voucher for a kit for the cost of shipping, $3.

The razor, blades, a bottle of shaving gel, and a little protector cap. I ordered it as the voucher said they were German made blades.

I've been using the TV razor from Germany for years and go through about one blade a month shaving three times a week.

Everybody satisfied with what you get from Harry?

    I'm curious how you like them.

    I use the Dollar Shave Club, been a member since they came out. I really like them, but have been tempted to try Harry's also.

    Great blades and an awesome way to start every week, a new blade on Monday.

    Creamo Shave Cream is another secret to a great shave, in my opinion.

    I just emailed for the set today, but I like the TV German razor I got at Wally World. The blade stays sharp a long time.

    I always get a comfortable shave as I let the cream moisten my face for 8 to 10 minutes before I shave.

    I love harrys I shave once or twice a happy beard grows fast I just hate to shave that often seeing I had to change blades every week the first blade I used from harrys came in kit it finally broke after 2 months of use thats right 2 months and it broke bought 6 blades and still am on the second one 6 months later cleaning is the key to long life I love harrys

    Have used them for a few years now. Love them. Just found out they are now available at the local Target store.

    Not a fan, gave me razor burn...tried Dollar Shave club too..another dismal failure. It seems Gillette Fusion is one of the few that doesn't tear my face up. So I am in their club.

    I bought a vintage straight razor a couple of years ago but can?t get up the courage to try it. Cutting my own throat seems a bad way to die. [:)]

    Bleeding out is fairly painless, seemingly. Have a warm coat handy.

    What works best with me is a shaving brush and mug and a good safety razor.Could never get a good shave with a throw away razor.

    I tried the razors from Harry's. They are not as good as Gillette, but they are better than the disposable razors.

    Make a blade last for months by after hot water; spritz with Alcohol
    I get 2/3 month[8D]s minimum out of schick 4 blade

    I bought a pack of 100 safety razor blades on the bay for $10.

    Blades last me a week.

    I have blades to last me two years for $10. Harry's ain't beating that price point.

    I bought one, tried it once and gave myself razor burn. Along with cuts, one has to be very attentive using one of those razors.

    I use DSC. The 2 blade heads last 8-10 days because I don't have to shave every day.

    bought some current made shick injectors for the old razer not worth a #$%^&,retired my bic throw away today after 30 days [:0]still good this morning after a 2day,made in france[:D]i think i got my 50 cents out of it

    Their blades suck as far as I'm concerned last time I used one of their blades was the last time I cut myself.

    But their shaving gel is great all I use now.

    You can buy them at Target. I mean if you shop there.
    I got one of those $3 things too. So I decided to try it. When I put the info in, it wanted to charge me $5. So I said to heck with that.
    I cannot abide dishonesty.
    Like many other "wonder" products they advertise, get one free. Read the fine print, you are signing up for automatic shipments every month for $69.99. Just try to cancel one of those rip offs.

    Been using coffee cup with 1/2 cake of complexion soap and a pig bristle brush for 60 years now. Gillette Fusion sure beats the old Shick double blades.

    I typically have good luck with Bic or Schick 3-blade disposables. Shave everyday with Barbosol cream in the shower and can usually get a month out of one before they dull. No interest in auto-ship "deals".
