Thank you for asking Sir. I'm doing great and things are getting back to normal but some folks have had their houses and cars completely destroyed. I was very lucky. It's a "DRIVE IN" not a drive through. I had not one but two Bacon, egg and cheese burritos with onions today and they were great!! By the way Sam06 brought a really nice Ruger custom short barreled .44 Magnum Super Blackhawk for me to sell today and we were trying to decide if you could handle such a powerful firearm.You wrote something about wanting a .44 and this one is special.A dark oily blue on the the gun with a contrasting stainless Bisley grip frame and hammer. The grips are from dark horn, the action is very smooth with a nice light trigger. I was told it was a good shooter and I have no doubt. There were highways around Myrtle Beach that were still closed as of a couple days ago due to the flooding. It is amazing that the water is still there...very sad for the folks effected, their homes destroyed. 0 -
The Cape Fear River was still rally high when I drove down Friday. Lots of dead turtles along I40 and the ditches still have water.
Up where I live nest to Falls Lake they are releasing 5550 cu feet of water an hour to bring the lake down. That all goes into the Falls river and on down to the coast.
There was only one exit closed due to damaged roads between Raleigh and Wilmington.
From what I know I95 is open.
Ken when Ricci puts up the 44 mag check it out. It is a really good shooting gun and is easy to carry. If a forum member wins it I will kick in some stuff, like Brass and a nice Handmade Pancake holster, I may even have an extra set of dies.0 -
