Food Shopping. (I am Evil.)

Playing Hookie today. (3rd 6 day work week in a row.)

Went to the local Food Lion. Spotted my Mom (about 86 yrs old) in the Produce section. About the same time, spotted one of my Mom's friends and her Husband. (I was able to hold my finger up to my mouth, and shush them.)

Rolled up my paper Food Lion sales flyer, picked up at the front door. Got in my Mom's blind spot, ambled over, and started beating her on the shoulder/arm (lightly) with my rolled up sales flyer.


The look on her face was Priceless. [:0][B)][:D]

Once she recognized me, she started laughing. "You Rat."

Friends were dying laughing.


I was like, "where is your carry piece Mom?" "It's right here in my purse." My Taurus 2" snubbie .38 special, Nickle plated, hidden hammer.


I said "how'd that work out for you?"

Followed by a hug.


Situational awareness Mom. Situational awareness. [;)][}:)]

    Pretty sure I could deflect an 86 yr old, drawing down on me, while I was right next to her. [:D]


    It was seriously funny. You had to be there. I'm sure my Mom's friend, (a real character, former school teacher, a maverick,) will be giving her hell for this, for a while now. [:D]

    Couple of months back I was passing through the town where my younger Son lives. He works at the local grocery store and is well accepted by the other employees even though he's legally blind. I walked the aisles until I saw him helping stock the cooler, made a stealthy approach, and flicked his ear. He jumped a bit but his co-worker(a middle aged Motherly type lady)was on me like a Mama Grizzly. I was back peddling as she was in full defensive mode until Son called her off and introduced me.
    OOPS, don't mess with the blind kid or someone will climb your tree.
